As hospitals grapple with the mounting pressure of increased COVID cases, and schools prepare for the return of students and teachers, for many, anxieties about the pandemic are escalating.
In theory, the decision to include Rapid Antigen Test results (otherwise known as RATs) in the official case numbers, rather than just PCR tests, would alleviate some pressure from pathology labs… that is if we could get our hands on them.

The search for RATs is unwarrantedly difficult, involving plenty of phone calls to supermarkets and pharmacies until we eventually find which stores have the stock. Spoiler alert… not many.
We’ve done some digging and found some stores that stock RATs, as well as a helpful trick to quickly locating RATs in your local area.
We can’t guarantee stocks will last, but we hope this helps in some capacity.
Rapid Antigen Australia houses both Nasal and Saliva tests, stocking brands such as Orawell, Cellife and InnoScreen.
