They may now work for rival networks, but Sylvia Jeffreys and Lisa Wilkinson are far from foes.
In fact, Sylvia recently told The Daily Telegraph that she ‘misses’ her former Today colleague.
‘Of course [I miss working with her],’ Sylvia, 32, told the publication. ‘I had a great time working with Lisa.’
Lisa sensationally quit Today in October last year, after executives refused to up her pay to be equal to the wage of her male co-presenter, Karl Stefanovic.
In the wake of Lisa’s sudden departure, Sylvia said she was shocked but supportive of her colleague’s decision.
‘I am thrilled for her because she is thrilled, so it is all good,’ Sylvia said at the time Lisa jumped ship to join The Project on Network Ten.
Sylvia and Lisa were visibly excited when they bumped into each other on the Logies red carpet earlier this month.
‘I saw her really, really briefly at the red carpet because it’s pretty chaotic down there,’ Sylvia told The Daily Telegraph.
‘She’s going great guns at Ten and clearly loving it, so good on her.’
