Princess Diana’s niece Lady Kitty Spencer has made a claim that may shock some.
The eldest child of Diana’s brother, the Earl of Spencer, says she doesn’t ‘depend on anyone’ and is determined to make her own money, despite her dad being worth over AUD$200 million.
The 28-year-old was thrusted into the spotlight after appearing at the wedding of her cousin, Prince Harry, to Meghan Markle in May.
Kitty attended the highly publicised event sporting a hand-painted green Dolce & Gabbana dress.
In an interview with Harpers Bazaar, she said: “It was definitely unexpected.
“[My Instagram followers] went from 17,000 to half a million in one night.
“I thought I had someone else’s phone when I woke up the next morning.
“I had to turn my notifications off because my phone was going to die.”
And she added: “Can I still FaceTime my cat and put it on my Stories?”
