Designers were clamouring to make Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle’s wedding dresses … but when it comes to Princess Beatrice‘s gown for her upcoming marriage to Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi there has been silence.
The eldest daughter of the Duke and Duchess of York Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson has started to panic because she knows “it will forever be compared” to gowns of Meghan and Kate.

According to Radar Online, a palace source said: “At this point, rather embarrassingly, the response has been lukewarm and it looks like she might have to actually pay and design it for herself.”
Givenchy designer Clare Waight Keller was responsible for Meghan’s dress, Sarah Burton of Alexander McQueen designed Kate’s gown and British fashion designers Peter Pilotto and Christopher de Vos were the masterminds behind Princess Eugenie’s look, but Beatrice is still struggling to find anyone willing to work with her.
It also doesn’t help that her father Prince Andrew is currently fighting off a sex scandal.
He has allegedly been ‘banned’ from his daughter’s upcoming wedding, according to another outrageous US report.
With claims that Prince Andrew has sex with one of Jeffrey Epstein’s underage sex slaves, Virginia Roberts, sources allegedly told America’s Globe magazine that Beatrice told him not to come to her wedding, or walk her down the aisle.
“In a heartbreaking phone call, she tearfully told Andrew she that she didn’t want him walking her down the aisle or at her wedding,’ the source sensationally claims.
“She was so thrilled when [fiance] Edoardo proposed. Now she’s down in the dumps over the shame and backlash caused by her father,” they added.
The palace has not commented on Radar Online or the Globe’s claims.
