While Prince Harry gushed over his new son and wife, Meghan Markle during a press conference, he didn’t reveal the tot’s name.

However Royal commentator Angela Mollard believes that the new parents will announce the name, when they introduce the baby to the world in two days’ time.

“We will probably see the baby Thursday our time and I think they’ll come out with a name then too,” she said on the podcast New Idea Royals.

“As Harry said, the baby is overdue so they’ve had plenty of time to think about it.”

But, when it comes to the name the couple will choose Angela thinks that the couple could forgo the traditional names and pick Hooper!

“There’s a couple of names that I saw suggested, Spencer is in there and I saw Hooper, which is quite an American name,” she said.

“I don’t think [the name] will be predictable. I think it will be a mixture of royal and celebrity.”

There is one particular name she thinks they definitely won’t choose.

“Arthur is the top boys name, but I don’t think it’s going to be Arthur,” she revealed.

“Pippa Middleton’s babys name is Arthur and they can’t all have the same names. Meghan and Harry will want this to be their baby and have its own.”

However, when it comes to names for the tot, Angela’s favourite is Alexander.

“There’s a lot of history in the name alexander in the US and in England,” she says. “It’s the male name of Alexandra which is a royal name and I like the shortening Alex.

“Of course, we will just have to wait and see.”
