She’s been married for nine months and now royal watchers believe Princess Eugenie could be celebrating another heart-warming event in less than nine months’ time.
A palace source tells New Idea exclusively that royal circles are buzzing with the exciting news that Eugenie is expecting her first child with her husband Jack Brooksbank.
“Everyone’s convinced that Eugenie is having a baby,” says a palace source.
“She’s believed to be in the early stages of pregnancy and her hormones have been going through the roof.”
Speculation about Eugenie being pregnant has been building since the young royal appeared at Royal Ascot with what appeared to be a small baby bump, with onlookers noting she appeared more curvaceous than usual and had a glow about her.
Then she was photographed being embraced by an enthusiastic Zara Tindall alongside a smiling Kate Middleton, while touching her stomach in a tell-tale way. Fans decided this was the moment Eugenie had chosen to tell her relatives the happy news about her pregnancy.
In early July, Eugenie attended a Celine Dion concert with her sister Beatrice and reportedly avoided alcohol and only drank water. But apart from this family outing, Eugenie has been out of the spotlight in recent weeks. She did appear on a panel for her charity The Anti-Slavery Collective recently, but wore a very loose-fitting top.
If Eugenie and husband Jack are expecting a baby, it will be a cause for enormous celebration for the family. In fact, her mum, Sarah ‘Fergie’ Ferguson, has previously spoken about her desire to be a grandmother, even ahead of Eugenie’s wedding.
