What does Count Felix study?

Count Felix is studying International Shipping and Trade education at Copenhagen Business School. He graduated from his high school, Gammel Hellerup Gymnasium, on June 23, 2021. He began his university studies in 2022.

Why is Count Felix of Monpezat no longer a Prince?

On January 1, 2023, Joachim’s four children lost their prince and princess titles and “His/Her Highness” styling which they inherited at birth as the grandchildren of Queen Margrethe II.

The news was first announced via an official press release from the palace in September 2022.

“In April 2008, Her Majesty The Queen bestowed upon her sons, their spouses and their descendants the titles of count and countess of Monpezat. In May 2016, it was also announced that His Royal Highness Prince Christian, as the only one of The Queen’s grandchildren, is expected to receive an annuity from the state as an adult,” it began.

“As a natural extension of this, Her Majesty has decided that, as of 1 January 2023, His Royal Highness Prince Joachim’s descendants can only use their titles as counts and countess of Monpezat, as the titles of prince and princess that they have held up until now will be discontinued.

“With her decision, Her Majesty The Queen wishes to create the framework for the four grandchildren to be able to shape their own lives to a much greater extent without being limited by the special considerations and duties that a formal affiliation with the Royal House of Denmark as an institution involves.”

All four children still maintained their places in the order of succession.

Does Count Felix have a girlfriend?

Count Felix is reportedly dating the Chilean-Danish actress, Mie Sofia Elers. In February 2024, the Danish magazine Billed Bladet confirmed that the two were officially dating.

The young actress, 23, is formally trained in theatre, having earned a bachelor’s degree from Copenhagen Film and Theatre School. Reports indicate she is currently pursuing additional studies in Madrid.

However, with Felix being once referred to as one of Europe’s most eligible bachelors, their romance hasn’t exactly been smooth sailing.

In July 2024, Sofia spoke to the Danish newspaper BT about the harassment and abuse both her and her friends and family endured in early 2024 when she went public with their relationship.

“About a year ago, I started receiving hateful messages on my social media accounts. I chose to ignore it until it escalated and these profiles started contacting my friends, family and followers on social media,” she told the publication.
