In an explosive new interview, Prince Charles and Camilla’s secret Australian son Simon Dorante-Day has made further shocking claims that will no doubt rock the royal household.
According to Simon – who has long alleged that he is the product of the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall’s affair, which began in the 1960s – his identity would have been revealed 22 years ago if it weren’t for Princess Diana’s untimely death on Aug. 31, 1997.
We believe that Diana knew of my existence and that she had put the pieces together,” Simon exclusively tells New Idea.
In fact, now based in Queensland, Simon, 52, believes the late princess, who was killed in a car accident in Paris, was planning to go public with the information before she died.
“At the time, there were all sorts of rumours flying around about the royal family, and my existence was one of them,” Simon continues. “I think Diana was at a point where she was finding out answers about her life, how she was wronged, and she was going to go public with it.”
Simon, who was born on Apr. 5, 1966, has long alleged that he has evidence to back up his claims he is the son of Charles and Camilla, including his original birth certificate, which appears to list fake names for his biological parents.
According to the father-of- nine, Camilla fell pregnant in 1965 but kept it a secret. He was born in Gosport, near Portsmouth, England, and was adopted by local couple Karen and David Day at 18 months old. His adoptive grandparents, Winifred and Ernest, worked for the Queen and Prince Philip in one of their households, with Ernest receiving an Imperial Service Award for his work.
“I was very close to my grandmother and she told me many times that I was Camilla and Charles’ child,’ Simon says. ‘She didn’t just hint at it, she told me outright.’
Meanwhile, Simon says a photo of him as a teenager is further proof that he is the Queen’s illegitimate grandson, because it shows his uncanny resemblance to his “biological parents” their Royal Highnesses.
“Someone had commented on my facial bone structure being the same as Her Maj,” Simon shared on Facebook. “The Camilla-style hair doesn’t miss.”
And it seems others can also see the similarities between Simon and his so-called half- brothers, including Tom Parker Bowles and Prince William. “William looked a bit like you at this age,” his friend Lucy Banksia wrote.
Speaking to New Idea, Simon’s wife Elvianna has no doubt her husband is of royal blood. “We believe the royals kept Simon until he was 18 months old,” she spills. “And Diana knew … she was going to go public.”
