Camilla Parker Bowles was far away in Germany when her daughter-in-law Meghan Markle gave birth the Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor and was still touring overseas with the Prince of Wales when the Duke and Duchess of Sussex gave the world the first glimpse of their new bub.

While being thousands of kilometres away from little Archie may be hard for the new grandparents, luckily for Camilla one kind royal fan took it upon themselves to show the Duchess of Cornwall the newly released photos, to which she took great delight.
During the royal couple’s visit to Saint Thomas Church in Leipzig, one enthusiastic royal watcher pulled up the utterly adorable image of a sleeping Archie, to which Camilla replied sincerely: “Thank you for showing this to me.”
Someone in the crowd also gifted Camilla with a large oversized teddy bear intended for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s baby boy.
Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowels will continue their four-day visit to Germany, travelling to their next and final place Munich, having already met with German Chancellor Angela Merkel in Berlin.
