Prince Charles has paid tribute to socialite and celebrity Tara Palmer-Tomkinson after she was found dead at her London home.
The Prince of Wales has said he is “deeply saddened” over the news that his goddaughter had passed at age 45.
The former “It girl” and TV personality had revealed just three months ago that she was receiving treatment for a non-malignant brain tumour.
Police are treating the death as unexplained, but not suspicious.
The model is the daughter of former British Olympic skier Charles Palmer-Tomkinson, who is a close friend of Prince Charles and the royal family.
Palmer-Tomkinson was also in attendance for Prince William and Kate’s nuptials at Westminster Abbey in 2011.
