Viewers were quick to slam the singers on social media, suggesting they weren’t actually performing their songs live.

“Every single one of those performers was lip-syncing. There is no way they could sing so clearly from underneath that big heavy mask,” one user wrote.

“Everyone knows that no-one in singing live on this s**t right? Literally the worst show on TV,” another said.

The show was a hit in the US, but it also sparked controversy there when fans questioned if the stars were really singing behind the costumes.

Despite the speculation, celebrity judge Jackie ‘O’ Henderson is adamant that they are singing live.

“They are singing live – 100 per cent fact,” she told The Advertiser.

But the singers weren’t the only ones blasted for being fake – an insider source tells New Idea that the judges are ‘acting’ and already know who is behind the masks.

“I do know that Lindsay Lohan is given all the answers as she doesn’t know anyone or recognise any voices!” the source claims. “If none of them can guess, they all get handed a list of five names with one correct one so the episode can end.”

Another source also claims while the four judges appear to get along on-screen, apparently Jackie O isn’t very close to Dave ‘Hughesy’ Hughes, Dannii Minogue and Lindsay Lohan.

According to the insider, the radio star reportedly missed out on crucial bonding time with them because she would go home early, as she’d need to be up for her slot on KIIS FM.

“Lindsay got on well with Hughesy, she thinks he’s hilarious. But Jackie famously doesn’t have many friends and finds it hard to make friends,” the source claims.

“She felt out of her comfort zone being in that group setting and at times felt like she was on the outer.”

The source adds: “Having worked only with Kyle for 20 years, naturally she’d feel anxious about not having him by her side to bounce off.”
