In light of Married At First Sight Australia’s Mitch Eynaud’s brother Jayden going on the show, we have taken a look back on his time on MAFS and what he has been up to since.
Mitch’s brother has joined Season 11 of MAFS and Nine has hinted Mitch will make a reappearance during the episode. Talk about a flashback!

Mitch was matched with Ella May Ding on season 9 of MAFS in 2021, however, he became a very controversial contestant and had a rocky time due to his recurring urge to leave the show.
Despite a strong start to the experiment, Mitch and Ella’s relationship came to an end during their Final Vows where he decided that he could not give her commitment and requested her “patience.”
“It’s difficult to see a bright future with you when it seems the longer that we spend with each other the more difficult the relationship gets,” Mitch told her.
“I’m sorry Ella, but right now I just can’t give you the commitment I know you want. I know this is not what you want to hear but what I ask from you today is patience, but all I can be is honest and this is how I feel.”
Ella was devastated and saw this as Mitch just wanting to keep his options open.
“I’ve given it my all. I have given it my absolute all. He’s asked for patience but to me, he’s just keeping his options open,” she said at the time.
Following the experiment, Mitch and Ella tried to give their relationship another go and surprisingly attended the Reunion hand-in-hand with Mitch declaring “Ella is my girlfriend.”
However, long story short, the two did not make it.
Mitch and Ella split after the Reunion, with Ella confirming the news on Today Extra the morning after the MAFS finale.
“I’m single and just gonna focus on me and start that healing process. I have absolutely no regrets, I loved the whole experience, I’ve got friends for life,” she said.

Amidst Mitch and Ella’s drama, we saw even more drama go down between Mitch and MAFS star Tamara Djordjevic.
Tamara was accused of messaging Mitch before she had even exchanged vows with Brent Vitiella, her on-screen husband.
The accusations were made at the final Dinner Party, however, Mitch and Ella held a united front at the time, revealing that Ella was aware of all the exchanges between the two as Mitch had been open with her about it.
Following the experiment and Mitch and Ella’s separation, Mitch and Tamara were spotted together numerous times, sparking rumours that the two were dating.
Tamara later confirmed that she and Mitch are just “really good friends” in a candid Instagram Q&A in May 2022.
“And I wanna set the record straight by saying that we actually only became friends months after filming had aired,” she said.
Tamara continues to comment on Mitch’s Instagram posts, commenting “Why are you wearing leggings in the water,” on his most recent post from January 3, 2024.
