Prince Harry and Meghan Markle NOT as rich as William and Kate – expert claims

Here's why...

Despite having recently spent millions renovating Frogmore Cottage, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are nowhere near as rich as their in-laws the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

A royal insider has reportedly told Vanity Fair’s Kate Nicholl that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have a number of financial restrictions compared to that of William and Kate.

“The Sussexes don’t have the same financial resources as the Cambridges,” the source revealed.

Ms Nicholl added: “The couple do not have a chef, and Meghan does all the cooking. She prepared organic meals before the baby was born and froze them, knowing she would be busy.

“Rather than hire a baby nurse, which is increasingly popular in the US she relied on her mother, Doria, to help out during the first weeks.

“Instead of hiring a trainer to get back into shape, Meghan did yoga with Doria, already a certified yogi, who took a course in postnatal yoga.”

Ms Nicholl also went on to claim that Meghan has not employed a stylist.

“She does most of it herself,” she said.

Last month, royal accounts showed almost $4.4 million (£2.4 million) of taxpayer money was spent renovating Frogmore Cottage for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

In the report, the Palace said major work was needed to turn the house – which is in the grounds of Windsor Castle – from five separate cottages into a single home for Harry and Meghan, and their new baby Archie.

Buckingham Palace said Frogmore Cottage was in very poor shape and needed ceilings and floors replacing, extensive rewiring, and the installation of gas and water mains.
