It’s been the most anticipated episode of MasterChef Season 10 – Prince Charles is set to appear on tonight’s episode of the Channel Ten cooking show.
A preview for tonight’s episode shows His Royal Highness taking part in a taste testing.
The royal met the judges – Matt Preston, Gary Meghan and George Calombaris – and tasted hors d’oeuvre prepared by the remaining contestants.
One dish consisted of a canapé topped with edible green ants, and Prince Charles asked, ‘So, I wonder, what are all these?’
‘Green ants on barramundi,’ Matt offered to the royal who quickly exclaimed: ‘Green ants?!’
George joked: ‘Our version of fish and chips.’
Also making an appearance on the popular cooking show was Camilla Parker-Bowles.
Camilla can be seen providing insight into what Charles might like in a dish, claiming ‘something fresh.’
‘You’ll definitely see a smile,’ she adds.
