Following her steamy hook-up with Bachelor Matt Agnew, contestant Abbie Chatfield says she received such backlash from the other ladies that the 23-year-old almost walked out of the house and left the show.

Abbie – who has a bust-up with Monique Morley after revealing to Matt what the feisty blonde has apparently said about him – revealed the reason she stayed was because her feelings for Matt were so intense.
But a source exclusively tells New Idea that all isn’t quite as it seems, as Abbie is said to be playing the Bachelor for a fool.
While Abbie said, “There were times [I was tempted to leave], but because I felt so strongly for Matt, I decided to stay,” a source close to the show claims that the Queensland frontrunner was never looking for a serious relationship, as she was apparently getting close to a British backpacker just weeks before filming started.
“Whenever she was with Matt she’d be telling him she wants to settle down, get married and have children – whatever he wanted to hear,” the insider claims.
“And then once Abbie was back in the mansion, she’d be laughing to the other girls that she’s 23, a party girl and couldn’t think of anything worse.”
While last week Abbie’s private conversation with Matt in the spa resulted in a huge fight in the mansion and caused the usually sweet Bachie to blow up, some say her actions were just to get extra screen time, and not for love.
“She went to Europe last year, met a guy in Scotland, convinced him to move to Australia,” the source added. “Abbie spent a couple of weeks travelling with him and then called it a day.”
If Abbie is just on the show for the fame and not serious commitment, could this soon result in heartbreak for this year’s Bachelor?
