After spending 55 days in the Samoan jungle, the winner of Australian Survivor was announced – Jericho!
It came down to the 25-year-old flight attendant’s suave charm and sneaky game play, both of which got him the final vote.
Revealing he never thought he’d make it to the finale, the 159cm contestant revealed he was worried about competing against six foot tall opponents.
‘I honestly looked at everybody and I was just like, ‘Holy crap. How do I compete against them in challenges?’ he said. ‘I was surprised at my own capability.’
In a snippet to the camera, Jericho said: ‘People underestimated me. People thought I was this angelic boy, when really, I was a wolf in sheep’s clothing. My name had never been written down until 52 days.’
Jericho walks away with $500,000 cash.
