We’ve had nothing more than fleeting glances of little Archie Mountbatten-Windsor since he was born earlier this year.
But his proud mum and dad, Meghan and Prince Harry, have finally showed off the gorgeous tot while on tour in South Africa!
WATCH: Baby Archie is off to meet Archbishop Desmond Tutu!
Cuddling the sweet baby boy in her arms as she and her husband make their way down a hallway on their way to meet Archbishop Desmond Tutu, the Duchess of Sussex smiles and coos to the four-month-old, who looks around curiously.
Harry, meanwhile, is smiling ear to ear, clearly loving his role as a dad – and perhaps secretly cherishing a rare moment to show off his pride and joy to the fans who love him so dearly.
Dressed in a pastel blue romper paired with a white long-sleeved undershirt, little Archie is absolutely adorable (no surprises there!). And in a move that takes his cuteness even further, the bub – born on May 6 this year – gives the camera a big smile as the family-of-three turn the corner and make for the stairs, where their welcoming party await.
Though it’s his first major appearance on the tour, Archie has managed to steal the show while overseas already, with Meghan and Harry unable to help but speak about their bundle of joy. As part of their royal tour of South Africa, Prince Harry and Meghan paid a visit to a Muslim family living in the city of Cape Town yesterday, where they reportedly opened up about their son.
Waseefa Majiet, a friend of the hosts Shaamiela and Ibrahim Samodien, told Hello that the Duchess “was speaking about motherhood and the transition and said that Archie was a good traveller. She said the transition was quite smooth because he’s an easy baby and he was an easy traveller, Harry said he slept on his chest almost 11 hours (during the flight).”
The new video of Archie coincides with news that Meghan is set to become a mum of two next year, with insiders certain the Duchess is preparing to share a pregnancy announcement in the very near future.
Bookmakers are so concerned with chatter that there are not one but three new royal babies about to be announced, they’ve suspended betting. Kate Middleton, Meghan Markle and Princess Eugenie are all rumoured to be in the early stages of pregnancy, and Ladbrokes has stopped taking bets on Duchess Kate becoming a mum for the forth time in 2020.
The bookmakers anticipate Meghan will announce a second pregnancy, with odds at 8/11 – after bookies were forced to cut the odds and bring forward the date. And following her wedding to Jack Brooksbank last October, Princess Eugenie is also expected to give birth next year.
