Christie Whelan-Browne, one of the actresses accusing Craig McLachlan of sexually inappropriate behaviour, claims she has been trolled online following her accusations.
The Wrong Girl actress took to Twitter to share some of the attacks she had received.
She wrote, ‘The people who have tweeted me to say they hope I get raped, hope I never work again and that they wish to spit in my face are incredibly hard to ignore.’
However, Whelan-Browne also reveals she has received lots of ‘love’.
‘The amount of love is drowning them out. So thank you. Rising above is hard, but I’m trying.’
Whelan told ABC’s 7:30 that the silver and gold Logie winner allegedly ran his finger along her underwear during one scene, and was directed to kiss her body underneath a bed sheet.
She further claimed the 52-year-old McLachlan had traced the outline of her underwear, leaving her ‘frozen’ in front of a packed crowd.
‘One night when he was down in the bed… he traced the outline of my vagina with his finger and I slapped his hand away,’ she said.
Christie is one of five members of the Rocky Horror Show to have come forward about McLachlan’s behaviour during the 2014 production.
McLachlan has vehemently denied the allegations, describing the claims as ‘inventions.’
Victoria Police are currently investigating the claims.
