She looked a million dollars as she stepped off the plane with Prince Harry in Tonga.

Yet Megan Markle – now the Duchess of Sussex – did make one minor faux pas.

Her gorgeous $600 red Self Portrait dress looked stunning against the red carpet as she made her way into the airport.

But behind the Duchess as she walked was a tag – fluttering from the hemline of her dress. You can see the pics here.

Fashion expert Donny Galella told New Idea that at first glance he had an inkling of what the tag might well be.

“Meghan looked stunning in the red Self Portrait dress. I love the belted detail and lazer cut detail on the chest,” Donny told New Idea.

“I did spot the tag dangling off the hemline of her dress though.

“I thought it was probably the stylist’s notes attached to the dress.

“As stylists we often make notes for our clients, with suggested shoes and clutch to pair with the outfit.”

Upon closer inspection, however, the tag turned out to be a returns label.

“I’m sure someone noticed this instantly and pulled it off her otherwise flawless look,” Donny added.

Harry and Meghan left Nadi in western Fiji on a Qantas charter plane for Tonga, and were met at Fua’amotu Airport by Princess Angelika Latufuipeka.

The royal couple then walked the red carpet, accompanied by traditional entertainment from Pelehake villagers.

Schoolchildren had been given the day off and lined the streets from the airport to the capital of Nuku’alofa, waving flags and cheering as the convoy made the 40-minute journey.
