Meghan Markle has had a rough couple of weeks as her father Thomas Markle continues to slam and slander the royal family at any chance he gets – the latest a tirade likening the royals to the Church of Scientology for their ‘cult-like’ behaviour.
It’s not just her father though, Meghan’s estranged nephew Tyler Dooley landed his own MTV series after naming his cannabis company after her, and Meghan’s half-sister Samantha Grant is rumoured to be appearing on Celebrity Big Brother in coming weeks.
Now, Meghan has jetted off to her hold home of Toronto for a solo trip, The Mirror reports.
It’s believed the Duchess of Sussex has landed in Toronto to visit old friends before she heads off on her long royal tour with Prince Harry, where the newlyweds will visit Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and the Kingdom of Tonga next month.
It is therefore thought that the former Suits actress will spend the time now catching up with her friends and old cast mates.
One of which includes her best friend Jessica Mulroney, whose son Brian just recently recreated his iconic royal wedding moment on Instagram.
We hope Meghan gets some well deserved rest!
