How much are your Lion King Ooshies worth?

You might want to take your kids collection for yourself!

Who would have thought that 24 plastic lion shaped miniatures would have created nationwide hysteria?Shoppers have gone nuts to collect and complete their collector cases, and considering you get just 1 Ooshie for every $30 spent, it will set you back over $700 to be given 24 Ooshies. And even then there is no guarantee that you will be given the 24 that you actually need to complete your set.

Gone are the days of kids collecting Ooshies for ‘just a bit of fun’, parents are now listing and buying Lion King Ooshies at ridiculously inflated prices.

Enter the world of online bidding.

The asking price for the orange sunset Simba is upwards of $30,000. Just one day after the Woolies Lion King promotion started, one shopper had already listed their orange Simba on eBay for $45,000 – strewth!
