The Real Housewives of Melbourne star and psychic, 37, tells WHO’s Cynthia Wang about wanting kids and taking her motivational spirit live to fans across Australia on her national Shine It Up tour (April 20–June 3).
Why go on the road?
This is something that I’ve been wanting to do for many, many years. I think it’s that natural progression, the next step since I have been doing professional psychic readings well before Real Housewives of Melbourne started. It’s really about empowerment and getting men and women all around the world inspired.
What will your event be like?
On this Shine It Up tour, I show people how to listen to signs and their intuition to create a full life. I will be sharing stories. It’s Tony Robbins meets Ellen meets Oprah meets John Edward. It’s not just psychic readings, although if the angels guide me that will happen.
After I’m a Celebrity, you said your thoughts had turned to having a family with your husband, Ben Gillies?
Ben wanted children seven years ago. I was the one holding back out of fear of, or a hope of, being the best mother I can be. I have a career, I work every day, but I also wanted to be there for my children, raise them and not feel guilty, so I was going through all those thoughts that were rushing through my head. Now I just want to do it and get on with it because I am feeling older and I am 37 and I don’t want to leave it for too much later because the older you get, the harder it does get. So watch this space, baby!
