Have trouble converting oven temperatures in your favourite recipe or entire cookbook? You’re not alone. In Australia, we most commonly refer to temperatures in degrees Celsius whereas our American counterparts prefer to use Fahrenheit.

How to convert Fahrenheit to Celsius

To convert a recipe that calls for degrees Fahrenheit to Celsius you should subtract 32 from the Fahrenheit temperature, multiply by 5, then finally divide by 9.

When it comes to using a fan-forced oven, refer to the operating manual for optimal results. Generally speaking, reducing the recommending temperature by 10°C to 20°C is recommended.Bona Appetit!
