Buying designer entertainment units can often be a costly affair, with large set-ups costing thousands and thousands.

But now one clever Kmart fan has come up with an ingenious way to create a designer look on a shoestring budget using Kmart’s new Noir Entertaining Unit.

Sharing on the Kmart Hacks & Decor page, member Carol revealed how she used two of the $59 items to create a super long entertainment unit – something that would’ve cost more than 10 times what she spent in a fancy store.Posting a photo of the amazing set-up (above), Carol writes: ‘We used 2 of the new Kmart noir TV units, screwed them together and added a timber veneer top to create a much more practical size unit for the space and size of the TV. Lamp, coffee table and rug are Kmart also!’The hack got the big thumbs up from the group’s other members.
