No-one in Summer Bay has found themselves in more perilous predicaments over the years than federal police officer Robbo (Jake Ryan).
But the newly married dad-to-be this week faces his deadliest battle yet. And there’s every possibility the Summer Bay favourite may not live to tell the tale!
Watch a sneak peek of this week here…
With Tori (Penny McNamee), the mother of his unborn child, still in witness protection, and his wife Jasmine (Sam Frost) back in the Bay but close to breaking point, Robbo is bent on finding those threatening him and his loved ones.
“Robbo has decided he has to do whatever it takes to try and fix this,” Jake says.
“He knows these people are after him and they want something from him, so he has made the decision to go and find them,” he says.
Needless to say, Robbo’s quest is about to land him in grave danger. In this week’s edge-of-your-seat episodes, the gym owner – having headed to a nearby wharf after receiving a cryptic message from his stalkers – watches as a boat speeds towards him.
But before Robbo can take defensive action, a group of thugs disembark and tie him up. Ordering Robbo onto the boat, they throw a bag over his head as the vessel speeds off to sea.
Soon after, the boat pulls in at a deserted cove. And it’s there that a man approaches, telling Robbo his name is Victor – and he now holds the life of Robbo and that of Jasmine in his hands. For, as Victor points out in a truly menacing tone, Robbo’s first family were killed – and survival, he implies, may not be an option for him or his new family.
“Robbo knows exactly what these guys are capable of – they’ve done it before and they’ll do it again,” says Jake.
Meanwhile, back at the motel room where she has been waiting anxiously for Robbo to return, Jasmine is feeling more uneasy by the minute. And with very good reason.
Unbeknown to Jasmine, an unconscious Robbo has been left in a dinghy, alone and adrift, out at sea!
