In fact, Robbo’s parents Wendy (Amanda Muggleton) and Ian (Frankie J. Holden) take an instant dislike to the bubbly Summer Bay resident.

And Jasmine and Robbo’s
visit to his family’s farm looks set to turn into the road trip
from hell.

“Jasmine doesn’t have
any family of her own and she’s really hoping she and Robbo can both have a really beautiful relationship with his parents,” says Sam.

Earlier in the week, Robbo assures a nervous Jasmine that he’s certain his parents will love her. ‘Nothing can go wrong now,’ he says.

“Jasmine just wants everything to go well and she is starting to stress out a little bit,” says Sam, adding, “but Robbo promises her everything will work out.”

Conceding that he’s probably right, Jasmine heads off to the country with the man she loves. But when they arrive at the farm, she can’t help but feel even more apprehensive. And with good reason.

“It’s going to take a lot of work for Jasmine to try and win over Wendy and Ian,” says Jake. “It definitely doesn’t go
as smoothly as anticipated.”

Soon after lunch, when she has a moment alone with Jasmine, Wendy makes her feelings abundantly clear to
the young nurse.

“Wendy absolutely speaks her mind and lets Jasmine know exactly how she feels,” says Jake.
