We know Harvey and Mike are the main characters, but let’s not overlook the witty Louis Litt and his hilarious one-liners. There are some great Harvey Suits quotes, but Louis Litt (played by Rick Hoffman) is the backbone of hard-working meme factory that pumps out all those incredible Suits memes; he nerds out with zero shame and has some of the most savage put-downs on the show.
Here’s a list of some of the Suits’ best Louis Litt quotes, as well as some honourable mentions from other characters.
10. Louis: “It’s not a scarf, it’s one of the world’s finest pashminas!”
Guys, how can you not tell the difference?
The man loves the opera, plays tennis, and adores ballet. Of course he knows what a pashmina is!
9. Louis: “So I treat my body like a temple. Does that make me uncool? I don’t think so.”
Of course he goes to the spa. Of course. Nope. Not weird at all.
Mudding is absolutely sacred to Louis. Some memorable moments include his mudding bro-date with a reluctant Harvey, and Louis’ excitement when Donna (whom he worships) agrees to join him.
8. Harvey: “Because it’s like you. I can’t stand it, but it’s part of the family.”
The love-hate relationship between them is one of the best parts of the show.
Harvey is handsome, whip-smart, and a great lawyer. In the first few seasons, we see Louis get jealous of him and try to befriend him all the time. Harvey often mocks Louis, but he actually respects him and thinks he’s one of the best lawyers he knows. Some of the show’s best moments involve them teaming up to take down a common enemy.

She usually is, though.
Before Meghan Markle became a royal duchess, she played Rachel Zane, Mike’s love interest. Even when she was a paralegal, Louis respected her and frequently tried to get her to join his schemes. She always chooses Mike, but that hasn’t stopped them from plotting together for the greater good.

Don’t Mess With Her! She’s Donna!
In Season 1, Louis thought he could put the Donna Paulsen in her place. How foolish! She’s a secretary, he’s a junior associate, right? Guess how that ended. There’s a fair share of great Donna Suits quotes, and she dishes out a good deal of punishment to Louis.

This is actually pretty inspiring.

Louis uses some very, uh, interesting metaphors.
In Season 3, Louis crosses Dana Scott, aka “Scottie”. She’s been described as the female version of Harvey, and she even dated Harvey for a time. When Dana joins the firm, she and Louis immediately lock horns. She doesn’t back down from a fight—but neither does Louis!

You’re not a fan unless you know and love this Suits quote.
It’s Louis’s way of saying “YOU GOT SERVED!” He loves it so much that he actually printed this catchphrase on mugs and t-shirts within the show! This is one of Suits’ most popular quotes, it’s even on the show’s official merchandise.
