For the month of August, Forage The Rocks will be holding a range of different activities for you to take part in. From free events, to live music and a wide array of food and drinks, this event won’t let you down. Here are some of the best events to do this year at Forage The Rocks:

  • Cocktail Trail – Try a range of limited edition cocktails and canape pairings.
  • Cocktail Masterclass – A 90-minute class where you can learn to make amazing cocktails.
  • Happy Hour – There will be a range of Happy hour offerings throughout The Rocks with $12 bottles of wine at Chateau Tanunda to $10 cocktails and $8 beers and wines at Bar Lulu. 
  • Conscious Connection Events: A range of events to meet new people: board games, mingling, sipping on drinks and delicious tapas.
  • Jazz Sessions in the Rocks – Every Thursday you can enjoy live music from Sydney’s best homegrown jazz musicians at The Rocks Square.

Jazz Sessions in The Rocks

Where: The Rocks Square, Playfair St

Every Thursday until August 29, Sydney’s waterside precinct The Rocks hosts an abundance of live performances from various Australian jazz musicians. This free event is the perfect place to catch up with your friends after work while enjoying some refreshing drinks from Hickson House.

Running from 6 pm to 9 pm, you can unwind and enjoy some incredible live music every week, without breaking the bank!

PJ Day at IKEA

August 31

Where: IKEA stores

On Saturday, August 31, make your way to the nearest IKEA to celebrate PJ Day. You can enjoy a free hot brekkie, croissant, or famous cinnamon bun until 11am in celebration of their newly released limited-edition veggie ball pyjamas. For the kids, each store will host various sleep-themed activities throughout the day, including a chance to meet bedtime legend FABLER bear. Every child who attends will get a complimentary small FABLER bear toy.

 Steak and Scotch Dinner

Every Sunday in August and on Sunday 1st of September for Father’s Day

Where: MISC Parramatta

Located on the shores of Parramatta River, fine dining restaurant MISC is offering a limited-time-only Steak and Scotch dinner.

For just $115 you’ll be able to enjoy a glass of Tomatin 12 Year Old Single Malt Scotch or have it in a mouthwatering cocktail, with a 1kg Rib Eye to share with a Tomatin whisky infused sauce, and sides including beef intercoastal skewers, focaccia, hommus, delicious crack salt chips, charred broccolini and a mouth-watering Tomatin Bombe Alaska for dessert.

The  Coeliac Australia Gluten-Free Expo is the ideal destination for those with a gluten intolerance of simply like to avoid any food that contains gluten. The event will feature a showfloor with exhibitors showcasing a wide range of gluten-free products, you can sample and purchase products from delicious treats to essential pantry items.

Where: Sydney’s CBD to Bondi

Experience the thrill of Sydney’s renowned City2Surf, the world’s largest fun run! Whether you’re a seasoned athlete, a recreational runner, or even someone who enjoys a long walk, this is your chance to tackle the iconic 14-kilometer course from Sydney’s city center to Bondi Beach. City2Sirf runners have raised over $55 million for charities since 2008 and this year alone, the event aims to raise over $4 million. Tickets are 97 per cent sold out so get in while you can!

The Bamboozle Room: Dinner and Show at Talk and Tease offers a dynamic show consisting of burlesque, cabaret, and comedy. The Greatest Story of Survival Thin Ice VR
