This year, another twelve celebrities-turned-dancers joined Dancing With The Stars hoping to pirouette and kick-ball-change their way to the mirror ball trophy.
Sadly, only one can tango their way to success. But who? Well, the winner may have already been leaked.
Fans of the show have flocked to the online betting site like Sportsbet to place their odds. And one celebrity in particular has taken the lead.
Currently predicted to win the competition is actress Lisa McCune, with odds of 2.25.
Closely behind is musician Samantha Jade (2.62), followed by Nikki Osborne (3.00).
Best known for her role in the popular 90s series Blue Heelers, Lisa McCune remains one of Australia’s most successful screen and theatre actors.
Following her iconic role as Maggie Boyle, Lisa went on to perform in musicals including Cabaret, The Sound of Music, and South Pacific.
Should Lisa nab the mirror ball trophy, she will be joining the likes of musician Phil Burton, actor Luke Jacobz, comedian Celia Pacquola, and more.
Most recent victor, Human Nature’s Phil Burton called the Dancing With The Stars experience “intense, challenging, difficult, rewarding, and joyful”.
“I have laughed, I have cried (not even kidding – I broke down into sobs on more than one occasion) and I have learned new things about myself and my self-confidence that I never knew before,” he wrote on Instagram following his win.
“Most importantly – and forgive me if this sounds overly dramatic but it’s true – this show has changed me for the better and I am so freaking ecstatic and grateful that I was chosen as a participant.”
Will Lisa join Phil in the DWTS hall of fame? We’ll have to keep watching to find out!
You can catch Dancing With The Stars Sundays at 7pm on Seven and Seven Plus.
