‘All of my friends have children but I’m thinking I’ve still got a lot to do,’ she said.

The dancer and singer also opened up about the fertility challenges she expects to face due to her ongoing battle with endometriosis.

‘I would actually have to try quite hard and I know with the endo I probably wouldn’t be able to plan it out anyway.’

Her comments came as news broke of her ex Lachlan dating another dancer, Australian Ballet senior artist Dana Stephensen.

The ballerina and the Purple Wiggle met while filming a segment for the popular children’s entertainment  group last year, but have yet to confirm the rumours of  a relationship.

When questioned about rumours Gillespie – also known as Purple Wiggle – is believed to have ‘found love’ with The Australian Ballet’s Dana Stephensen, Emma says she supports whatever decision he makes.

Back in 2018, the children’s entertainer told The Daily Telegraph she was behind the decision for the couple to end their marriage, claiming they were both unhappy.

Watkins added the couple parted ways during a very challenging year that saw her undergo several health scares, including surgery for endometriosis and a leukaemia scare.

Following her endometriosis surgery, the Emma reportedly had to undergo a blood transfusion and at one point, she faced the possibility that she might have leukaemia.

‘It has been a weird time for us. I think we just realised that we were meant to be best friends,’ she told the publication.
