Academy Award nominee Gerta Gerwig has written and directed Louisa May Alcott’s 19th-century classic, for what will be the eighth film adaption of Little Women.
The story follows the four March sisters – Jo (Saoirse Ronan), Meg (Emma Watson), Amy (Florence Pugh) and Beth (Eliza Scanlen) – as they come of age in the United States Civil War-era.
The cast also includes Hollywood heavyweights like Oscar winner Meryl Streep (who’ll portray Aunt March) and Timothee Chalamet, who plays Jo’s love interest, Laurie.
Little Women is expected to hit cinema’s around Christmas time this year, so mark your calenders!
