Michael Bublé is in Australia and headed straight to the Sunrise desk for a very special reason!
The Canadian superstar has come Down Under to say “thank you” for the love and support continuously shown to him by his Aussie fans.
In 2016, Bublé decided to step away from the spotlight to focus on his son Noah, who was diagnosed with liver cancer.
Now, the singer is back to close Allianz Stadium and launch his brand new record!
“I had no choice but to put it aside,” he told the Daily Telegraph.
“One of the reasons I felt I could do it again was I don’t think the public would ever understand how much their love and compassion and support meant to my family.
“And I wanted, in a small way, to say thank you for that. When I felt I could, I wanted to come back and show them that.”
Bublé has also opened up about the joy of welcoming his third child, a daughter named Vida.
The family weren’t able to travel to Australia this week, as his two sons Noah and Elias begin school in Vancouver this week.
“They’re not here and I am really lonely, thank you for asking,” he joked to the Telegraph.
While in Australia, Bublé also performed the world premiere of his new song When I Fall In Love.
