The first pictures of Margot Robbie on set of I, Tonya have been released and the 26-year-old has undergone a dramatic transformation.
The newlywed actress is almost unrecognisable thanks to make-up, styling and wardrobe padding.
Harding, who is now 45, gained international attention in January of 1994 for orchestrating a violent attack on fellow figure skater Nancy Kerrigan at the U.S. Figure Skating Championships in Detroit. Harding’s ex-husband and one of her bodyguards hired men to break Kerrigan’s leg ahead of the competition. The assault resulted in a bruised leg which forced Kerrigan to withdraw from the event, which Harding won.
Both women went on to compete in the 1994 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer, Norway, where a freshly healed Kerrigan took home a silver medal. Harding pleaded guilty to the attached charges and was banned from the U.S. Figure Skating Association for life.
Robbie is back to work after spending the first half of January in Australia. ICYMI, The Wolf Of Wallshtreet and Tom Ackerley tied the knot in an intimate garden ceremony.
