New mum Khloe Kardashian has broken her silence for the first time publicly on her controversial decision to stay with boyfriend Tristan Thompson after he was caught cheating on her with multiple women during her pregnancy.
A fan named ‘Queen Persia’ on Twitter wrote: ‘I love, adore & root for @khloekardashian but I’m so disappointed she stayed with that wasteman Tristan.
‘She preaches about women knowing their self worth and when to walk away but when it’s time to walk the walk, she’s a hypocrite.’
The 33-year-old Keeping Up With The Kardashians star was quick to reply, ‘Not exactly Queen Persia, you have no knowledge of what goes on in our household or the enormous rebuilding this takes to even coexist. I’m proud of my strength. I appreciate your opinion and I hope you hold that same opinion to everyone else who has stayed in situations.’
Earlier this year footage emerged of Thompson, 27, with other women – just two days before Khloe was due to give birth to their daughter, True Thompson.
It was later confirmed that the NBA player had cheated on Kardashian with five women, all while she was pregnant.
The couple welcomed their daughter, True, on April 13.
The couple have been actively working on their relationship, and the future looks bright for the doting parents.
‘She seems happier and happier every day,’ a source told People.
‘Khloe wants to get married eventually, but there are no serious wedding talks yet,’ the source continued.
‘She does talk about a future with Tristan, though. She believes they can figure things out and have a happy life together. True is doing great, too. And Kris is so proud of all her grandkids. She constantly shows pictures of all the babies.’
