Desperate to remember what happened to him when he was held captive on the boat, Robbo (Jake Ryan) has never felt more frustrated.
But just when he’s losing hope of retrieving his memory, with no further leads in sight, Summer Bay’s newest doctor Alex (Zoë Ventoura) offers a glimmer of hope.
The medico has an idea that takes Robbo and his young wife Jasmine (Sam Frost) completely by surprise. Would Robbo consider undergoing hypnotherapy as a potential tool to unlock his memories?

“Alex is a very good doctor, and very competent and well-trained,” says Zoë. “She is also open to the benefits of alternative therapies, such as meditation and hypnosis. If she thinks a patient will do well from something a little different, she will suggest it. I actually like that about her – I think it’s a really interesting aspect to her.”
As Zoë discloses, Robbo and Jasmine are “certainly taken aback” by Alex’s idea. “But they are at their wits’ end at this point,” says Zoë.
“They don’t know what to do, and do start to believe that trying hypnosis can’t hurt. They decide that Robbo will go in and give it a go.”
Adds Jake: “This is a bit of a last resort for Robbo, but he has turned over every other rock and every other stone. He is quite sceptical about anything to do with counselling or hypnotherapy. At first, he thinks it’s a bit of a joke and that there’s no way it will work, but he does agree to give it a go.”
Meanwhile, Zoë reveals that when the session gets underway, “the situation becomes extremely intense”.
Indeed, Robbo’s hypnotherapy treatment may well set the scene for a shocking turn of events – one that leaves both Jasmine and Alex reeling.
