Jennifer Aniston has lashed out at husband Justin Theroux over his ‘humiliating’ TV flirt-fest with sexy singer Jennifer Lopez.
The pair appeared on The Late Late Show With James Corden together two weeks ago, blowing up social media with their outrageous flirting and intimate banter, with one fan even saying they ‘should get a room’.
Not surprisingly, the shocking display left Jen ‘furious’, with the actress livid that her husband had humiliated her so publicly with J.Lo, a long-time pal of the Friends star.
‘This is the ultimate betrayal for Jen,’ says a friend of the A-lister. ‘Not only is her husband on TV flirting outrageously with another woman, it’s a woman who’s supposed to be a friend.
She just feels so humiliated, like she’s the laughing stock. First [ex-husband Brad Pitt] runs off with Angelina Jolie, and now Justin is flirting with anyone within 10 metres of him.
‘It was Naomi Watts a few months ago, now it’s J.Lo.’ And insiders tell New Idea that Justin, 45, has had a crush on 47-year- old J.Lo for many years and was desperate to see her for the TV performance – and that their affection and flirting continued long after the cameras stopped rolling.
‘Justin has been crushing on J.Lo for years,’ says a source close to The Leftovers star. ‘He goes totally giddy around her and can’t stop staring whenever they’re together.
‘Anyone who knows him will tell you there’s a massive attraction there. He even blushes when she speaks to him!
‘To be fair to Justin though, Jennifer doesn’t exactly discourage him, she flirts right back. They’re very touchy-feely and she loves the attention he shows her, for sure.
‘When he arrived for the appearance on James Corden, Justin had his assistant text her assistant and arranged for a power meeting before they both went on air.
‘It was supposed to be about prepping for what they’d talk about, but ended up with him blatantly flirting.’
The scandal prompted a showdown between Justin and Jen, who friends say is ‘growing tired’ of his flirtatious ways.
Jen is fully aware of Justin’s crush and wasn’t impressed when she found out about this latest behaviour,’ a source tells New Idea.
‘She’s told him in no uncertain terms to stop embarrassing her and think carefully if he wants to play Russian roulette with their marriage like this.
‘Justin justifies it by saying Jen’s friendly with a lot of guys, including Brad, of all people! He denies having any sort of crush on J.Lo and accuses Jen of being paranoid, but there’s no denying it to anyone who knows him.
‘He’s been making a fool out of Jen for too long and she’s had enough of it – especially since J.Lo’s supposed to be her friend. Jen trusts them both, she just hates looking like an idiot in public.
