Radio and TV host Fifi Box has shared her excitement and joy about becoming a mum-of-two.
Taking to Instagram last Wednesday to share the happy news, Fifi wrote: “Welcome to the world our beautiful little sweetheart Daisy Belle Box!! And just like that our perfect little family became a whole lot ‘perfecter’.

“Trixie and I are so hopelessly in love with Daisy, we can’t wait to build our future with her, I am the luckiest mumma to be blessed with these two precious angels.”
Family, friends and celebrities – including Sophie Monk, Carrie Bickmore and Melissa Doyle – commented on the photo to congratulate the proud mother.
And with former ironman Grant Kenny spending lots of time with their daughter, Beatrix ‘Trixie’ Belle, he will no doubt be looking forward to also welcoming the newest addition to their extended family.
Fifi first revealed in February this year that she was pregnant again via an Instagram video featuring her six-year-old girl.
In the same post, she told her followers: “I began an IVF journey to extend our little family. After a series of egg retrievals and freezing, last year I started the process to become pregnant via an anonymous donor.”
While the father of gorgeous little Daisy hasn’t been confirmed, Grant has been a devoted dad to Trixie.
Fifi and Grant split in 2012 after a brief romance, when she was five months pregnant with Trixie. Despite widespread speculation, they didn’t publicly confirm Grant was Trixie’s dad until she was three years old.
A close friend told New Idea: “They’ve always had this real chemistry and obviously stayed close because of Trixie.”
Grant often travels to Melbourne to spend time with Trixie and Fifi, taking her to school and celebrating her birthdays, but still maintains a close relationship with his ex-wife, former competitive swimmer Lisa Curry and their three children, Morgan, Jaimi Lee and Jett.
When his eldest, Morgan, gave birth to her son Flynn in March 2018, Grant was overjoyed to become a grandfather for the first time.
Last week, Lisa shared a sweet selfie of herself, Grant and Flynn, now 15 months old, on her Instagram.
“Grannie and Pa having a play with our gorgeous Flynn,” she captioned the cute photo.
And while some would want to keep their two families separate, it’s clearly important to Grant that his loved ones spend time together.
After Flynn was born, Fifi took Trixie to meet her nephew and Morgan shared photos of Fifi cuddling her son.
“Thanks for cuddles @fifi_box. I had so much fun with you and Trixie and Lizzie, love Flynn,” she captioned the snap.
Fifi is said to be close with Grant’s daughters, as she also makes trips to Sydney so Trixie can get to know her older half-sisters, and they will no doubt be visiting little Daisy.
While the radio host has longed to give Trixie a new sibling, her second pregnancy wasn’t all smooth sailing, as she kept fans and followers updated with the struggles.
“I have never been sicker or felt worse in my life,” the star wrote. “But I know every second will be worth it when this little angel arrives to join Trixie and I.”
Fifi revealed on social media that she suffered hyperemesis gravidarum, which is a pregnancy complication that causes severe nausea, vomiting, weight loss, and possibly dehydration.
“So for any other sufferers out there I hear you, I feel you and I know what you’re going through,” she posted.
But Fifi has had lots of support from friends, including her co-hosts from The Fifi, Fev and Byron Catch-Up, Brenda Fevola and Byron Cooke, and The Project stars, Lisa Wilkinson and Carrie Bickmore.
And despite ending their relationship, Grant has helped Fifi raise their daughter. The family man couldn’t be happier for her, and will continue to support them.
A family friend told New Idea: “Grant has made it very clear that he will be there for Fifi, Trixie and the new baby … He knows what this means for Fifi and for Trixie to
have a sibling and for him personally, he can’t wait to have another little one crawling around, especially since becoming a grandfather.”
