Delta Goodrem is not happy!
The Aussie songstress has fired back at reports that claim she was sacked from her coaching duties on The Voice after promoting a beauty product on a rival network.
“Dear all, there has been a FALSE & unorthorised article circulating online that has come from an unsolicited site regarding my involvement with a face cream,” she penned in an Instagram post on Monday.
“All of the information in this story is untrue so please do NOT believe anything that you may have read.”
“Do NOT click through to this article. It is a SCAM intended to get your data and/or your money,” she continued.
“I have nothing to do with this made up story and wanted to make sure you knew NOT to follow the link. Love and light, D x.”
The article – entitled ‘Delta Stirs Up Controversy Again’ – suggested the star had broken her contract with Channel Nine to advertise the skincare line ‘Christie Brinkley Wrinkle Reduction’ which boasts a “cutting-edge Wrinkle Reducer and Anti-ageing Serum.”
Alongside various before-and-after snaps promoting the use of the product, the singer was quoted as saying that the Network were only up in arms as “her miracle face crème really works, and they want to own a portion” of her company.
The article also claimed Delta was facing a lawsuit over the incident and that her rumoured lover and co-star Seal had been tasked with finding her replacement for the reality TV show.
Many of her followers expressed their frustration over the scam, with some admitting they had already been duped.
“I was this close to putting in my details… Bloody buggers, so manipulative,” one user penned.
“Too late, my friend has been ripped off already!!!!!!” added another.
