Delta Goodrem has spent eight years securing her spot on the red chair, but it looks like the singer may have some competition for the title of ‘favourite coach’ on Channel Nine’s The Voice.

An insider reveals to New Idea that the network is thrilled with newcomer Guy Sebastian – who won the first season of Australian Idol – and “see him as reinvigorating the format as audiences and viewers love him.”
But, according to our source, Delta is said to be not happy about the “newbie who has stolen her eight-year-old crown, which she thinks she owns!”
The well-placed insider also added that Delta wants to be the only one who performs live on The Voice, but the show apparently wants another one of the coaches – who also include Boy George and Kelly Rowland – to take to the stage.
