The 61st annual TV Week Logie Awards went off in style at the Star Gold Coast on Sunday night, but the drama from the event shows no signs of stopping.
Sunrise host David Koch ignited a war of words with Married At First Sight‘s Martha Kalifatidis, after he revealed the MAFS star elbowed him in the ribs on the red carpet in an attempt to get in front of the camera.
Kochie’s co-host Sam Armytage, newsreader Natalie Barr and sports reporter Mark Beretta supported their colleague, leading Martha and her on-screen husband turned real life boyfriend Michael Brunelli to slam the Channel Seven veterans for “bullying”.

Daily Mail Australia spoke to Kochie outside the Sunrise studio at Sydney’s Martin Place on Wednesday, and the anchor didn’t mince his words.
“Maybe I put myself in a dangerous position between her and a photographer… And for that, I apologise.
“I’ve said all I need to say on Martha – we did on air,” he added, referencing Sam’s remark that she “couldn’t pick [Martha] out of a line-up”.
Kochie declined to show reporters the bruise on his chest which he said developed as a result of Martha’s elbowing.
“I’ve still got bruises in the ribs from the Married At First Sight woman who elbowed me on the way through,” he said on Sunrise on Monday morning.
Kochie‘s colleague Mark Beretta also refused to apologise to the reality star.
Speaking in a YouTube video from her Melbourne home on Tuesday, Martha defended herself and took a swipe at Kochie for “shaming” her to Australian viewers on national breakfast TV.

“Just when I had built myself back up after the tumultuous time on MAFS, you [David Koch and Sam Armytage] brought it all crashing down.”
In her social media post, Martha said she did not remember seeing Kochie on the red carpet, as “it was packed”, but acknowledged there could have been an accidental bump.
