Brody, 35, made the admission on the latest episode of The Hills: New Beginnings.

Speaking to the camera, Brody said that after the transition: “Caitlyn is a different person than Bruce,” which he says is “awesome”.

Brody continued: “I didn’t really grow up with my dad. When I was really little, we got to spend a little time. When he started, obviously, the family with the Kardashian family and all that. I didn’t really see much of him.”

“Bruce was never really around. Every so often, maybe once every couple years. Wasn’t around for my graduation. Wasn’t around for most of most of y birthdays so, yeah, it really wasn’t any relationship. It was very surface,” he said.

“Eventually, we started to become closer but then all of a sudden, it’s like, I was just getting to know Bruce and then Bruce became Caitlyn. Caitlyn is a totally different person than Bruce. It’s her true self but Bruce was always holding a lot back and being somebody totally different,” Brody admitted.

“She’s way happier as Caitlyn and that’s ultimately the most important thing. That’s awesome. She’s off living her life. What I’ve learned not to expect too much from her,” he said.

Caitlyn Jenner, 69, who was previously known as Bruce, came out as transgender in April 2015.

She has since undergone gender reassignment surgery in 2017, and changed her gender legally to female.

Caitlyn has six children, including Brody and his brother Brandon, and Kendall and Kylie Jenner
