Brad Pitt has reportedly mixed business with pleasure during his most recent promotional trip to Mexico.
The Once Upon a Time… In Hollywood star recently attended the film’s premiere in Mexico City. After Brad, 55, signed autographs and snapped selfies with fans, the megastar reportedly had another important engagement: meeting up for a beach holiday with his ex, Jennifer Aniston.

A source has told New Idea that the former Hollywood golden couple met up for a secret getaway in Cabo San Lucas.
“Jen is always in the mood for Mexico, it’s her favourite place, so she was more than happy to meet Brad there,” the source reveals.
The picturesque resort city has always been Jen’s preferred holiday destination. She even recently hosted a birthday party there for her Friends co-star, Courteney Cox.
However, the main reason the 50-year-old loves Cabo is because it holds such fond holiday memories of her time married to her former husband, Brad.
According to the source, Cabo was the ideal spot for Jen and Brad to continue to rekindle their former spark.
“Brad and Jen had an amazing getaway in Mexico and it really brought back lots of special memories,” says the source.
The insider adds that, against the backdrop of the pristine blue ocean, the couple made an effort to set the scene for romance.
“They had couples’ massages, spent long days in the sun and long nights drinking wine and enjoying each other,” the source reveals. “They both said they had an amazing week and were so happy.”
The renewed relationship could not come at a better time for the pair, personally and professionally.
After recently weathering tumultuous marriage splits, both Brad and Jen have now had time to heal from their break-ups with respective partners Angelina Jolie and Justin Theroux.
The former married couple of five years reportedly leant on one another for solace throughout this testing period and are now coming out the other side.
Meanwhile, professionally, both veteran actors have found their groove again. While Brad is travelling the world promoting his new flick, Jen is celebrating the success of her Netflix movie, Murder Mystery.
“They’re both on top of the world at the moment,” tells the source. “Brad’s the toast of Hollywood with his new Tarantino film and Jen’s new film is getting rave reviews after years of box-office duds.”
This upbeat spirit has filtered into a renewed confidence surrounding the potential of their rekindled relationship.
According to the source, it was also a contributing factor to the success of their recent Cabo getaway.
“There were a lot of reasons for them to celebrate – not just because they’re back on top in Hollywood but because they’re together and they’re happy in love after years of heartache and upheaval.”
Their latest hook-up comes on the back of continuous reports about the pair’s renewed relationship. Things reached fever pitch earlier this year when Brad was spotted discreetly attending Jen’s 50th birthday bash, which was also in Mexico.
On top of all of this, there have even been suggestions that the pair are deep in discussions regarding potentially reuniting on the work front.
Back when they were married, the couple founded the Plan B production company.
While Brad has been at the helm of the business since their 2005 divorce, there’s
talk about the pair reuniting for a project.
With age and experience on their side, the source believes that the second time around could be just right for this A-list couple.
