After being crowned the winner on the 21st season of Dancing With the Stars US, who better placed to stand in as a guest judge on the Australian franchise of the hit series than Bindi Irwin?
Practically anyone, according to a host of TV viewers.
The 20-year-old made an appearance on Monday night’s episode of DWTS alongside permanent critics Craig Revel Horwood, Sharna Burgess and Tristan MacManus, but fans were unimpressed with the conservationists performance.

The daughter of the late Steve Irwin was slammed for being “fake” and “too sweet” on social media, with many users declaring she “needs to grow up”.
“Did Bindi Irwin just call Amanda Keller ‘love’? Not sure I can watch #DWTSau tonight…” one person tweeted.
“Oh my god, did anyone else not realise how f*****g nauseating Bindi Irwin is until watching her on Dancing With the Stars,” another wrote.
“Why does Bindi Irwin speak like that?” one woman flatly asked.
One man offered “a word of advice” to the young star, writing: “Bindi Irwin you need to develop a grown up TV persona and be more natural.
“That saccharine sweet stuff that was so adorable in a young teenage girl just seems fake in a young woman. You need to grow darls.”
But while Bindi received a significant outpouring of criticism, she also got support from plenty of fans who praised her appearance and called for her to return as a judge in the future.
“Y’all Bindi Irwin is like such a great role model. I aspire to be as hard working and loving of everything that she is. I just want to hug her,” someone said.
“Bindi Irwin’s positive energy is infectious! SO many sad things in the world, it is wonderful to see such positivity – wonderful job,” another wrote.
