She has eligible bachelors lining up to receive her roses, however, it seems Bachelorette Angie Kent may have had another man on her mind during filming – Bill Goldsmith.

According to an insider close to the former Gogglebox star, Angie and Bill – who appeared on Ali Oetjen’s season – had a steamy rendezvous in Byron Bay, NSW, earlier this year, just days before filming began.
At the time, Angie was enjoying a pre-filming health retreat at Olivia Newton-John’s famous Gaia Retreat & Spa with her co-star Isabelle Silbery, while Bill was visiting the popular tourist spot with a friend.
Apparently, the pair had been messaging on Instagram for a number of months, so when they ended up in the coastal town at the same time, they decided to make plans to meet up.
“Angie was not supposed to leave the retreat, however, Bill begged her to come out and finally meet him in person,” the source claims.
“They all met at a local cafe for dinner and then ended up going on a pub crawl afterwards.”
According to the source, Angie and Bill hit it off immediately and things got romantic fast, with the pair said to have hooked up later that night.
“Angie went back to Bill’s hotel after the pub crawl that night,” the insider dishes. “They didn’t sleep together but they kissed all night.”
And it seems Angie’s final fling left a lasting impression on her. In fact, her feelings for Bill were apparently so strong that she was even considering walking away from the show.
“Angie had to choose between pursuing things with Bill on the outside or going ahead with the show,” the friend claims. “However, because it was just
a matter of days before filming, contractually she couldn’t back out that late in the game so the decision was made for her.”
The insider also claims Angie asked producers to cast Bill on the show as an intruder.
“There was no way they were going to take that risk again after the way he ghosted the Bachelor in Paradise reunion,” the source explains. “He’s effectively been blacklisted from the franchise. If it had been someone else, it may have been a different story!”
However, despite having a group of guys in the mansion fighting for her attention just days after her hook-up with Bill, behind closed doors, Angie was still secretly heartbroken.
“The first few weeks of filming were really hard for Angie because she was in two minds,” the source says. “She still had feelings for Bill and
was questioning if she made the right decision.”
