Carrie Bickmore has opened up about the harsh realities of falling pregnant for the third time at 37.
‘Because I’m older now, it’s harder!’ she told TV Week at the Logie Awards earlier this month.
In fact, the presenter has had such a rough slog this time around that a fourth pregnancy may be out of the question entirely!
‘I can’t see myself as a mum-of four,’ Carrie said. ‘Let’s see how this one goes first.’
This isn’t the first time Carrie has spoken about her challenging pregnancy.
Earlier this month, she opened up about her struggle with morning sickness on the Hit Network’s Carrie & Tommy Show.
‘Until this week I felt so sick, 24 hours a day, like I mean so sick,’ she said.
‘[Being] hungry made me feel sick, eating has made me feel sick, being awake has made me feelsick, sleeping has made me feel sick, coffee has made me feel sick, everything has made me feel sick.’
Likely making matters worse are work dramas, the latest of which has seen The Project come under fire for insensitive comments last week.
Carrie’s co-host Tommy Little and guest host Rove McManus have been slammed on social media for a ‘disgraceful’ segment where the two of them mocked the voice of mining CEO Geoff Summers.
Referencing Geoff’s high-pitched tone, Tommy joked that he ‘sounds like the first mining minor’. ‘Hey question – were they mining for helium?’ Rove added.
The Project has been accused of double standards, given their stance against bullying.
