Lisa Marie Presley has wasted away after losing a whopping 35kgs, according to a shocking new US report published today, and sources fear she’s killing herself with drugs, just like her late father Elvis.
A new report in American magazine Globe outrageously claims the 5ft 3in heiress, who has reportedly blown through most of her dad’s fortune, may not live to see the 40th anniversary of Elvis’s death on August 16.
“Lisa Marie is a drug-addicted mess,” says the publication’s unnamed insider. “She’s become a wraith and her weight has dropped to a shocking 99lbs [45kgs]. She may well have passed he point of no return. Her organs are in failure, with her liver already collapsed. People around her have tried to help, but it’s no use. She’s going to end up just like her father.”
Lisa Marie, 49, was ordered to go to rehab by a fed-up children’s court judge in LA during divorce and custodial proceedings over her eight-year-old twin girls, Harper and Finley, with soon-to-be-ex-husband Michael Lockwood, 56. However Lisa Marie refuses to obey the judge’s edict to complete six months in rehab.
Rumors that Michael was planning an intervention on Lisa Marie when she hit him with divorce papers haven’t helped her case. Globe’s report sensationally claims that when she discovered his plan, “she gobbled a cocktail of prescription meds causing her liver to collapse”. Lisa Marie was hospitalized and that’s when Michael called the California Child Protective Services to step in and save the twins, who are now staying with their grandmother Priscilla.
“Lisa Marie claims she was suffering from severe back and throat problems and that’s why she needs pain pills,” says Globe’s insider, who adds she’s been practically homeless, crashing her older kids, Riley and Ben Keogh’s pads. “She’s out of control. She’s ‘bouncing around’ between the homes of Riley and Ben because nobody can stand living with her. Even her own mother, Priscilla, has grown tired of having to babysit her and has sided with Michael in the custody battle for their twins girls.”
Lisa Marie has yet to comment on Globe’s outrageous allegations.
