Putting the bad times behind her, Mariah Carey has impressed fans with her amazing new confidence and zest for life at her most recent Las Vegas show.
Friends say he Fantasy singer had recently been doubting herself after going through a double breakup – from fiance James Packer last November and then backing dancer Bryan Tanaka in April. But all that seemed ancient history as she donned her trademark skimpy outfits to belt out her hits at her #1 to Infinity show in the US gambling capital of Las Vegas.
But there are always toxic personalities trying to get in the way. According to a report in US magazine Star today, Mariah has been forced to ignore offensive ‘hints’ from her staff to dress ‘more appropriately’ – wisely insisting that age is just a number and women can be hot at any size.
An unpleasantly bitchy insider told the publication: ‘Her stylists end up switching the tags on much larger garments just to appease her. She’d look so much better if she just accepted she can’t eat or dress like she’s in her 20s anymore.’
We think it’s great to see Mariah being her own person despite the haters! Go Mariah!
