The great Kate wait has begun as royal watchers everywhere prepare for the birth of Prince William and Kate Middleton’s third child.
The couple, who already share a son, George and a daughter, Charlotte are sure to be busy planning for the new arrival.
But the rest of us are wondering… What will the new tot be named?
According to betting site, Ladbrokes, Mary has been a long-time favourite for a girl at just 4/1, but now a new name is racing ahead as the favourite – Alice!
The name has recently become one of the most popular with punters and bookies have slashed the odds, now putting it in equal position with Mary at 4/1.
‘Punters have been backing Alice to be the name of Will and Kate’s third born for so long, it was only a matter of time before we were forced to make it favourite,’ Alex Apati from Ladbrokes told The Sun.
We think, Alice is a name fit for a princess!
Victoria is also a frontrunner at 6/1, but, if the Kate and William have a boy, Albert and Arthur are the most popular options at 12/1.
