Where do William and Kate Live?

Here's where the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge reside.

Where do Prince William and Kate Middleton live?

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their three children currently live at Apartment 1A inside the Kensington Palace grounds.

It’s one of the largest apartments within the grounds featuring 20-rooms and the couple recently gave the property a $9million dollar facelift.

The grand apartment was once home to Princess Margaret, the Queen’s sister and rumour has it the property is also haunted.

According to rumours, King George was once seen walking through the King’s Galley moaning ‘why won’t they come?’

Legend also has it that a boy with rare genetic abnormalities was bought to the palace by the King and to this day still haunts the staircase.

Where did Prince William and Kate live before?

Before Prince William and Kate Middleton moved to this apartment they lived at two-bedroom property Nottingham Cottage, now vacated by his brother Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle.

Nottingham Cottage is also located on Kensington Palace’s grounds and was home to Princess Diana’s sister Lady Jane Fellows.

Apart from Prince William and Kate Middleton, Kensington Palace is home to 15 other royals including Prince and Princess Michael of Kent and most recently Princess Eugenie and her soon to be husband Jack Brooksbank.

When Prince George was born, the family lived at Kate Middleton’s parent’s home, Bucklebery Manor, a sprawling estate which sits on 18 acres of land and features seven bedrooms and a tennis court.

And when their second child Princess Charlotte was born, the family moved to country mansion Anmer Hall near the Norfolk coastline.

However, since the family have moved back to Kensington Palace they now visit Anmer Hall during the holidays and long weekends.

The country mansion is located on The Queen’s Sandringham Estate and features a swimming pool and a private tennis court.

The home was given to the couple from the Queen and has undergone several refurbishments over the years, paid for largely by the royal family funds.

The property’s decor was brought into line with the couple’s taste and need for privacy.

Where will Prince William and Kate live in future?

The family moved to London to be closer to The Queen and help support her royal duties, yet they may not always live in Kensington Palace.

Rumours have it they may move back to their countryside estate in Norfolk at some point where the children have spent most of their youth.

“Stability at home is so important to me. I want to bring up my children in a happy, stable, secure world, and that is so important to both of us as parents,” Prince William said.

Where will William and Kate live when the Queen dies?

When The Queen passes away, it has not been decided if William, Kate and their kids will move into Buckingham Palace, although it may be likely.
