After his shock exit following the death of his grandmother, viewers took to Twitter to beg Network Ten to bring him back to their screens.

“Poor egg Ciarran 🙁 Definitely need Ciarran for Bachelor 2020 next year,” one fan wrote, followed by another who wrote:

“Hearts breaking around Australia seeing Ciarran like this. Ten should bring him back when he’s had time to heal as Bachelor 2020.”

Another use slammed Bachelor in Paradise as they pleaded with Channel 10 to put him on The Bachelor or nothing at all.

“Dear god please have Ciarran as the next Bachelor or not at all. Don’t let this precious man end up in the cesspit that is Bachelor in Paradise.”

An insider recently told New Idea that Ciarran initially didn’t want to leave, so he tried to stay for a week. But his heart just wasn’t in it anymore and “he was over the whole thing.”

Understandably, Ciarran was “super depressed, not himself.”

The larrikin couldn’t stop thinking about his nan and just didn’t want to be in the competition.

He ultimately left for the UK to see his family. Despite both Angie Kent and production wanting Ciarran to return, the Brit decided it was best he closed his Bachelorette chapter.

Following his exit from The Bachelorette, Ciarran told Ten Daily that he regretted leaving the mansion and ultimately the race for Angie’s heart.

“I don’t regret much in life, but I do regret leaving the mansion,” he told the publication.

“I feel like I should have gritted my teeth,” he said, “only a few more weeks and I could have been the number one.”

“Looking back, it was a mistake to leave.”

There are regrets all round that Ciarran is no longer on Australian screens, however with the flood of support of fans, it’s likely that he will be making a return to the reality tv franchise soon.
